About
Dr Erika Techera is an environmental lawyer. She teaches and researches on a range of international and comparative environmental law issues, including marine environmental governance and cultural heritage law and policy at both the global and Pacific regional levels.
Dr Techera holds a PhD in law from Macquarie University, as well as a Masters of Environmental Law and Master of Laws in International Environmental Law. Dr Techera is admitted as a legal practitioner in New South Wales and worked previously as a barrister at the Sydney Bar.
Dr Techera is a member of the IUCN World Commission on Protected Areas and Commission on Environmental Law.
